CONGRATULATIONS
Committee at RFDS Jandakot
At our committee meeting in October the collection tins were counted, from the 4 Desert Trek, over 10 weeks. This was a very successful collection, seeing there were tractors, back up vehicles and people coming and leaving along the way.
Thanks to Jean for taking the photo and Sonia Abbott for sending it to the club.
Don’t forget the Royal Flying Doctor Service does a fanfastic job,so donate if you can PLEASE
International Vintage Machinery Rally W.A.
Its not a 9G its a Crusader, CR 229
This is the gentleman that drove across the Nullabor and was talking to Macca on Sunday He arrived approx. 1pm at the gate but when I got my photo everybody swamped him and I wasn’t able to get his name but by the end of Rally I will have it. He came from the Wagga Wagga district.
Young N.S.W
Neville and Jenny were our hosts and very good at that, Neville peeled prickly pear for us to taste, delightful taste, showed us his huge veggie patch and beautiful dahlias. Then onto the machinery. What a collection they have or should I say Neville has. In all there are 22 tractors along with cars, trucks, etc. There is still some work to do on quite a few but he enjoys every minute of it and there where some not there, had left elsewhere to go back and do a trek with at a later date
These are just a couple, one of which is comeing to Pinjarra National Rally in September, The Three Wheeler.
