Trek 2002 - Feedback
I wish to congratulate all of the participants who are involved in the G9 Tractor Trek. It has been an enormous task for the committee and volunteers to put the G9 Tractor trek together for the project to be successful.
The Year of the Outback will showcase a range of events and activities demonstrating the outback's past and future. The Outback's role in Australia's history was well recognised, and it remained the symbol of Australia and being Australian. All Australians relate to the outback and retain some of its spirit within us. It will also pay tribute to that quintessential spirit of Australia and to the pioneers who explored, settled and developed the outback.
The G9 Tractor Trek's aim is to give all Australians a greater understanding of regional Australia's relevance and its potential. It is about our future as a nation. Once again I wish everybody a safe and enjoyable journey from the Murchison Settlement to Wiluna.
Best wishes

In this the 2002 Year of the Outback it's great to see people like the 9G Tractor Club embarking on such a unique venture that embodies the real pioneering spirit that made our great country what it is today. The Tractors in the Outback trek promises to be highly rewarding for all those involved. As WA Co-ordinator for the Year of the Outback I would like to wish you every success for a safe and enjoyable journey
